Here are recent pictures. I have been super busy with school finals and added responsibilities at work, on top of that I was sick . . . but here's an update: things are fine, back on track, finals have been great and I am healthy again. Cecilia turned 6 on the 20th! We had a school party and will also have a little pizza lunch for her and her friends and cousins this weekend.

Parenting and happiness
Parenting . . . it is such a joy! I spent part of my morning and afternoon today driving kids to baseball practice and birthday parties, and guess what? Parenting is the most joyous sector of my life. I don't recall having half of the fun my children have at their age . . . which doesn't mean I didn't have a happy childhood, it just means that they are having an outstanding one!

Thank God, I am alive!
Being alive is such a blessing. There was a time, not too long ago, when I didn't see life as such a beautiful gift. An internal and very personal miracle has taken place in my heart. Having said that, you can tell that I feel fine and that these days I see difficulties as challenges and small accomplishments as huge victories.
Here's hope you're also having a great one.

Today's deep thought:
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure."
Nelson Mandela
I usually hate quotes - hate using them, if I need to say something I use my own words - repeating someones words is not my kinda deal . . . but this one is a great one, so I am sharing.
